Designed for deck mounted installations, the VSE electric venting skylight is the perfect day lighting solution for overhead applications.
It brings in abundant natural light and with the touch of a button, opens to let fresh air in. The VSE skylight also closes automatically in case of rain. |
- Electrical components
The VSE skylight comes with a pre-installed concealed motor and control system. One rain sensor that automatically closes your skylight during inclement weather is also included.

The VSE skylight installs on roofs with slopes between 14° (3:12) and 85° (137:12).

Convenient remote control
The VSE skylight opens and closes quietly from anywhere in the house using our innovative RF remote control (included).
Simple installation
The VSE skylight installs right out of the box using a single 14 gage hard wire that connects into a standard junction box unlike other motorized skylights. 20 feet of wire is included.
Pick&Click!™ pre-installed
The innovative Pick&Click!™ brackets make blind installation a snap! Every VSE skylight comes pre-installed with Pick&Click!™ brackets that allow for fast and easy installation of sunscreening blinds and accessories.
Energy efficient glass options for added safety and energy efficiency
All VELUX skylight glazings are built using energy efficient, LoE3, Argon gas injected dual glass panes. The VSE skylight comes with the following glazing options:
* EnergyPlus glass – Tempered safety glass over an interior pane of thicker laminated, LoE3, argon gas-filled glass designed for safety and maximum energy efficiency
* ComfortPlus glass - Tempered safety glass with interior laminated pane for added safety and comfort

Sunscreening options for optimal light control
The VSE skylight comes pre-wired for an interior blind. This skylight model is compatible with several blind models to control the light and heat entering the space:
* Electric Blackout Blind – Blocks the light.
* Electric Venetian Blind - Accurate glare and light control.
* Electric Roller Blind – Diffuses the light.
Quality construction
The VSE skylight comes with pre-finished white frames and sashes that eliminate the need for secondary high cost trips by a painter. An insect screen, a stainless steel chain operator and aluminum cladding are also included in the package.
